Audition Information

The FAU Marching Owls invite prospective members to audition for drumline, colorguard, and majorettes.  Brass and woodwind players do not need to audition to join.

Drumline Auditions: 

In-person drumline auditions were held in April for the 2024 season. If you missed the audition day, but still wish to join, please contact Prof. Matthew Nichols.  Audition Materials can be found here.

Woodwind and Brass Part Assignments:

Part assignments will be determined throughout pre-season training.  

FAU provides sousaphones, mellophones, and marching baritones to its members.  We also have a limited number of other instruments available for use.
